MY PURPOSE
Restore Health
My goal is to restore the physical and mental health of my patients and improve their lives through the gentle art of acupuncture. I aim to provide relief of symptoms as quickly and gently as possible.
Who I Am and What I Do
My Journey
I came to acupuncture through looking for a gentler, effective way to treat my own symptoms. I was so taken with the success that I decided to learn the art of acupuncture myself.
I started my training at The London College of Traditional Acupuncture then attended Middlesex University and gained a 1st class honours degree in Acupuncture. During my training I underwent extensive clinical practice under the watchful eye of eminent Chinese doctors. I practiced at the private Asante Clinic in North London and at the Royal Free Hospital and Whittington hospital NHS pain clinics.
My training continued with a Post Graduate Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Middlesex University. This was under the guidance of Professor Ming Cheng and Professor Kaicun Zhao.
In 2013 I had the opportunity to gain clinical experience at the Wujin TCM hospital in Changzhou, China. This was an invaluable insight into traditional Chinese methods being integrated with Western medicine. On my return I set up my own clinic in Beckenham and I now also work at other locations.
My knowledge is kept up to date with continued professional development. I have furthered my knowledge with seminars in Fertility, Auriculotherapy, Facial Enhancement and the Dr Tan Balance Method.
I am a fully licensed and insured member of The British Acupuncture Council, the main regulatory body for acupuncture in the UK.
What I Believe
Gentle Healing
I believe the traditional art of acupuncture is very much relevant to treating modern conditions. By providing gentle healing it is possible to improve every aspect of my patients’ lives. I also feel it is important to educate and encourage my patients to take an active role in their health using lifestyle strategies. By looking after mind and body it is possible to feel better naturally.
